Default Leveling my Phoenix as a W/R

Hey Guys. I recently completed Factions, and decided to capture myself a Phoenix.

Its currently level 7, but whats the quickest way of making it to level 20?

Keep in mind I am a warrior Primary, and Energy is an issue.

THanks.

The easiest way depends on what evolution you want for your pet. You should generally be able to follow the pet guide to get what you want, but for a warrior things can be slightly different due to energy restraints.

If you want Dire, you will need to sacrifice your warrior's pride and put your weapon away. Stack your bar with pet attacks and self-defense, then run in and tank everything without fighting back. Your pet will start attacking to defend you and then you will use the pet attack skills you've brought. Low energy skills are a must, as are skills which can be used infrequently but will still continue to cause damage (such as Poisonous Bite and Feral Lunge). Ferocious Strike is invaluable when training a pet on a warrior, as it will give you back energy and adrenaline. You may need some pet defense skills such as Call of Protection, Symbiotic Bond, and/or Otyugh's Cry to use in the off chance that the enemies deside to switch from you to your pet. For the most part, however, running in like the crazy whammo stereotype is your best bet to get your pet Dire.

If you want Hearty, then equip your best solo build and go out soloing. Res your pet between groups so that it can take more damage, and even consider using a longbow to send your pet in ahead of you and get killed before you enter the fray. Keep in mind that your pet's death will drain your adrenaline pool, so it's not ideal to have your pet die while you're in the middle of a group of enemies.

If you want Elder follow the instructions above as needed, or alternatively, go soloing in a high-end area and this time make sure your pet dies early and stays dead. Get as absolutely much experience as you can from each run through the area to minimize the number of times your pet will need to die (and thus take damage) again. This way, your pet will not get the "Elder" prefix before it's name, but it will remain unevolved and have stats identical to an Elder.

(note: As a warrior, I would highly recommend fighting the Minotaurs outside of Ice Tooth Cave in Prophecies. They offer the ideal training ground for a warrior's pet, and are high enough in level to take your pet all the way to its final evolution at level 15)
